Responding to varying needs for off-grid clean power on demand throughout agricultural communities in Wyoming and Montana, solar installer Pegasus Solar partnered with Greentech Renewables to design a fascinating, flexible solution.
Pegasus Solar designed this rolling off-grid system to supply electricity on large farms and ranches throughout Wyoming and Montana. In order to ensure dependability and affordability, the Pegasus Solar design team built this portable array of IronRidge racking, Canadian Solar modules, MK DEKA wet batteries, and a Schneider 48-volt inverter system.
Pegasus Solar created a homemade enclosure to protect the inverter and charge controller from the harsh sun and decided on a 3-inch top connector cap to provide extra stability during transport. The Schneider XW's design flexibility allowed for a more robust off-grid power source for agrarian applications.
